Since 1968, Camp Towhee has been providing opportunities for children and youth with learning disabilities to relax, have fun, and feel good about themselves.

Camp Towhee is a therapeutic residential program for children and adolescents with learning disabilities who experience social, emotional and behavioural problems.  Located on a beautiful lakefront property in Haliburton, Ontario, Camp Towhee provides the perfect environment for making new friends and experiencing success.  Camp Towhee is operated by the Integra Foundation, a year-round Children’s Mental Health Centre in Toronto.

The mission of Camp Towhee is to increase the social competence and self esteem of children and adolescents with learning disabilities, and to assist them in learning new skills in a safe and accepting environment.  These objectives are achieved through the campers’ participation in unique and powerful outdoor learning experiences and activities with other campers.

Camp Towhee is an Accredited Member of the
Ontario Camps Association. Integra is accredited by Children’s Mental Health Ontario.
